The SWMO swim meet finals did not disappoint. Joshua Adank come in 4th place in the 50 Free and 7th in the 100 Free. 200 IM Nic Greening was 19, Andrea Diaferio 23, and Dustin Myers 24. Relay team A ,Jose Bouchereau, Nic Greening, Andrea Diaferio, and Joshua Adank, placed 12th in both the 200 and 400 Free.

Varsity Boys had a great start to SWMO Championship. Nic Greening, Andrea Diaferio, and Dustin Myers made the finals in the 200IM. Relay team A (Joshua Adank, Nic Greening, Andrea Diaferio, Jose Bouchereou) made finals in both the 200 and 400 Free relay. Joshua Adank made the finals in the 50 and 100 Free. Joshua Adank made state in the 50 Free. Gavin Miller swam a PR in the 200 and 50 Free. Tyler Newsom swam PR in the 100 Breast and 100 Free.

Congratulations to Brigham Blackwell for making his personal goal on Saturday, swimming the 500 Free in 6:55. Gavin Miller dropped 7 seconds on his 100 Free and Tyler Newsom dropped 1 second on his 100 Breast.

Joshua Adank took fourth place in the 100 Free at the OC Championship meet. Tyler Newson dropped 2 second on his PR for 100 Breast, Nic Greening dropped 3 seconds on his 100 Breast PR, Gavin Miller dropped 4 seconds on his 100 Breast PR and 5 seconds on his 100 Free PR. Brigham Blackwell dropped 4 seconds from his PR for the 500 Free.

Varsity Boys Swim team came in 5th place at the Parkview meet last night in Springfield. Tyler Newsom dropped 14.05 seconds in the 200 free, which is a phenomenal time drop for mid season. Gavin Miller has showed dedication in and out of the pool these last few weeks helping carry the B relay team last night when another swimmer was unable to compete. Andrea Diaferio dropped 1.36 seconds in the 100 free and 1.93 seconds in the 100 Breast. Joshua Adank was 2nd in the 50 Free and 500 Free. Shawn Berrioes was 5th in the 100 free. A relay was 5th in the 400 Free relay.

Varsity Boys placed 4th over all in Springfield on Tuesday Oct 2. 200 IM Nic Greening was 4th. 50 Free style Joshua Adank 1st, Shawn Berrioes 6th, Jose Bouchereou 7th and Dustin Myers 10th. 100 Free Shawn Berrioes 5th. 500 Free Joshua Adank 1st and Nic Greening 6th. 400 Free Relay team A 2nd.

Another great meet for boys varsity swim team in Springfield. As a team the boys placed 5th overall, A relay (Adank, Berrioes, Newsom, and Greening) 4th in the 200 medley relay and another state consideration time, A relay 4th in the 200 free relay. In the 50 Free Joshua Adank took 1st place, putting him .13 of a second from state cut, Shawn Berrioes 5th. 500 Free Brigham Black took 6th.

Boys Varsity Swim Team took 2nd place over all in the meet a Seymour. 50 Free Joshua Adank 1st, Shawn Berrioes 5th. 100 Free: Joshua Adank 1st, Shawn Berrioes 4th, Tyler Newsom 7th and Jose Bouchereou 8th. 500 Free: Brigham Blackwell 6th, Dustin Myers 7th, and Aidan Zollman 8th. 200 Free Relay A relay 2 and B relay 4. 400 Free Relay B Relay took first ( Tyler Newsom, Aidan Zollman, Brigham Blackwell, Dustin Myers.

Another exciting meet for the boys swim team last night. A Relay ( Andrea Diaferio, Nic Greening, Shawn Berrioes, and Joshua Adank) took 4th in the 200 and 400 relay. Joshua Adank place 1st in the 50 free and 5th in the 100 back. Members of the team swam the 500 free for the 1st time last night, Brigham Blackwell took 8th, Tyler Newsom 9th and Gavin Miller 10th.

The Ozark Invitational was a large meet with 24 High Schools from across Missouri competing. Boys Varsity A Relay team walked away with state consideration times in the 200 and 400 Free relay while Joshua Adank swam a state consideration time in the 100 Free. Varsity Boys A relay placed 16th in the 200 IM relay,13th in the 200 Free relay and 9th in the 400 Free relay. Joshua Adank placed 11th in the 100 Free.

Varsity Boys had a great swim meet in Carthage! A Relay team consisting of Andrea Disferio, Nic Greening, Shawn Berrioes and Joshua Adank placed 4th in the 200 and 400 yard relay. In the 50 Free Joshua Adank swam a 23.82 for 3rd, Shawn Berrioes swam 26.60 for 13th both placing well in a field of 30.

We had a great start for our first season of Waynesville High School Swimming . The team performed well during their ten man relay coming in third in our first non-scoring meet held in Springfield, MO. We are looking forward to the season ahead.
