JOEL E. BARBER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: 29
The 7th Grade Basketball team took on the 8th grade team of Joel E. Barber and came home with a win. Marcus Coleman and Sheldon Butler-Lawson led all scorers. DJ Horry and Stephon Goodin came up big defensively with multiple blocks to help shut down the Buckskins of Joel E. Barber inside the paint. Seth Sumter contributed a lot on the defensive end in which he forced a plethora amount of turnovers and contributed multiple points on the offensive side of things as well. Collectively this was a great team win for the Tigers and they are starting to peak at the right time in preparation for the Marshfield tournament next week.
