Joplin took a big step toward leadership in the Ozark Conference with a 4-0 shutout of the Tigers at Anderson Field Tuesday night. The Tigers moved the ball well, but couldn't counter Joplin's speed and quickness up front. The Eagles led 2-0 at halftime. Waynesville will play non-conference games against Willard (at home) and Nixa (on the road) Thursday and Friday.
