It was a great night for the Waynesville 8th Grade football team to have their home opener.  The Tigers started out slow, going down 8-0, but showed great poise and resiliency to finish on top 28-14.  On offense the Tigers were led by Xzavier McArthur who was able to score on the ground and through the air.  Terron Watson added a rushing touchdown and Datra Johnson added a two point conversion.  

On defense, the Tigers were led by OLB John Moore and Nose Guard Marion Fiame. Blake Heisinger and Xzavier McArthur each had an INT on defense. 

All in all this was a great team effort and great sportsmanship was displayed.
