The Lady Tigers rebounded from a 67-30 pounding by Class Three number one ranked St. James in the semifinal round to claim third place in the Rolla US Bank Holiday Tournament on Wednesday afternoon. The girls shook off Tuesday’s loss to beat Newburg 57-43 behind Kallie Bildner’s 29 points. Bildner had 28 points in Monday’s 62-54 opening round win over St. Clair. Bildner was named to the all tournament team.
With the third-place finish in Rolla, the Lady Tigers squared their record at five and five. They will entertain Jefferson City on Monday.
