Columbia Hickman opened the 2014 Waynesville Classic with a 3-0 shutout of the host Tigers on Friday afternoon. Waynesville produced several good scoring opportunities in the first half, but the Kewpies led 2-0 at the break. In other games that evening, Camdenton beat Bishop Dubourg 5-1 and Columbia Battle gained a 1-1 tie with Fatima in Battle's first ever girls soccer game. Both goals came on penalty kicks. Battle's tying score came with just 19 seconds remaining.
